5 Home Workouts for Dancers

I know it’s a very strange time to be a performer.

I understand that for many of us the next 4-8 weeks come with an uncomfortable amount of uncertainty. But in a time where so much is out of your control there are still many things that are within your control… your attitude and mindset are always within your control

Use this time to be a light.

Work on yourself.
Take time to slow down.

Organize your closet, update your reel, make self-tapes, clear out your book,
watch a youtube video on how to make a fancy meal, etc.

In fact, you should know this about me, I’m so passionate about the timing of the universe.
I don’t think it’s any surprise that in the midst of “hustle” season we’re all literally being forced to slow down.

I’ve received so many check-ins from my online training clients, emails, and DMs recently where individuals feel run-down, exhausted, and discouraged and while yes, for the next few weeks our income might take a hit, your body and mental state are being given the gift.

The gift of time.

The gift of solitude.

Now is the time to rest and recoup.

I’m here for you.

Please, let me know how I can support you. I’m just as anxious about this as you are but we are all in this together. Get the heck off of social media when you get overwhelmed. Set a 45 minute limit on IG and Twitter. Please, DON’T panic.

Check in with your friends. Talk about what you need and what you’re feeling.

As promised, and I assume that’s why you’re still reading this, here are 5 bodyweight workouts you can do from your home. And if you want even more workouts, hop on my email list because I’ll be sending out a different Bodyweight workout you can do from the comfort of your living room each day!

To make things a little more interesting, below is a chart. Think of it like a bingo board!
With each workout there will be a theme or title— share the board on your IG story with an image that coordinates with the title for each workout you complete and tag @dancerswholift for accountability!

I know times are hard and can feel dark and uncertain and scary… but this will pass!
My hope is that this challenge keeps you inspired, energized, and encouraged that things will get better one day at a time.

I love you. We’re in this together.

Good luck with this workout and remember to share the challenge-board on Instagram!
