Hey! I’m Amber — your new dance & fitness bestie.

Growing up, I was *the dancer girl* (yes, my father showed photos of me dancing in a light-up tutu to my first boyfriend…YIKES). But when I got to college and beyond, everything changed. I was still working hard — heck, I worked harder than everyone else! But I never got any of the gigs I wanted and no one could give me a straight answer as to why.
Eventually, after a snide comment from a professor about a banana I was eating (“Bananas are very fattening you know…”), I developed an eating disorder. Surprise! — that didn’t help either.
Then, one day, I my ruptured my achilles tendon and I thought my career was over.
Luckily, at the time, I was working the front desk at a gym (gotta pay the bills, ya know?) and I started researching about nutrition and fitness. One night, after a coworker convinced me to stay later and try weight lifting (I cried in the parking lot afterwards because I was SO bad at it), I decided to commit to making my body stronger.
That’s when the world of dance opportunities opened up. I got booked over and over again for TV, Film, off-Broadway, back-up dancing in LA, (you name it!) and finally even booked my dream job on a cruise ship! I realized that not only had I gotten stronger by lifting, which had improved my dancing, but I’d also developed new confidence that had me walking into male dominated spaces without any of the old anxiety.
This new mindset had completely changed everything…I want to share it with you…

Artist Modules:

MODULE 1

INTRODUCTION

Get to know our team and find out how to check-in with us, ask questions that arise during your training, and learn about our core philosophy!

MODULE 2

NUTRITION

Let’s talk all things nutrition for dancers! We’ll break down how to make sure you’re getting all the right protein, carbs, and fats for a healthy, balanced diet. Wave buh-bye to dieting fads and unhealthy trends!

MODULE 3

TRAINING

Time to pump some iron! Understand the basics of weight training and how to structure your gym sesh. We’ll cover how to rest, how to warm-up, navigating plateaus & setbacks, recovery, proper form, and more, so you can feel at ease walking into the gym.

MODULE 4

MINDSET

Your body and mind are intimately connected, so training one means you have to train the other! In this module, learn how to set goals, keep a journal, manage stress, promote constructive self-talk, and develop a positive body image.
